There for every first step.

Fatherhood is a small studio in Bandung for websites and web apps, from a one-page landing page to a whole platform. We stay beside your product while it learns something new: its first launch, its first users, its next feature.

We don’t just hand it over. We’re there when it does something for the first time.

Why a studio would call itself Fatherhood

Being a father isn’t one big moment. It’s a long line of small firsts. The first step. The first word. The first day at school. The first time on a bike without training wheels.

A good father doesn’t do those things for the child. He’s just there for each one. Close enough to catch a fall, far enough back to let them try. Explaining, slowly, why something works. Clapping when it finally does.

Products learn the same way. A landing page learns to speak for a business. A company profile learns to answer the questions customers used to call about. An app learns to handle its first real users, then its first new feature, then its first big change of direction.

We named the studio after that kind of presence. Not the handover, and not a promise to be on call forever. Just being there, and paying attention, every time your product learns something new.

“You don’t teach a child to ride by riding for them.”

So we work beside you, not instead of you. You see every step, understand why it was taken, and keep everything that was made. When your product can ride on its own, we let go. When it’s ready to learn the next thing, we’re glad to be there again.

What we hold ourselves to

Whatever the size of the project, this is how we work with you.

We’re there for the firsts.
The first draft, the first launch, the first real users, the first change of plan. We go through each one with you, not just the handover.
We tell you the hard thing early.
If a feature won’t pay for itself, or a deadline isn’t honest, you hear it from us in week one, not in month six.
We build so you can leave.
Plain, well-documented code, your own accounts, your own keys. Being dependent on us is a failure on our part.
Small is not less.
A one-page site gets the same attention as a platform. It’s often the first thing a business has ever put online, and that deserves care.

From a single page to a whole platform

Big or small, every product learns the same way: one first step at a time.

Landing pages
One page with one job: getting the right people to take the next step.
Company profiles
A site that explains who you are clearly enough that you don’t have to repeat it on every call.
Web apps
Tools people log into every day, from dashboards to ordering and booking systems. Built around the way your team already works, with accounts, roles and data that stay yours, and room to grow one feature at a time.

What we’re raising

We started in 2026, so this list is short. Each product on it is still learning, and we’re still beside it.

ArusKu

Personal finance web app, 2026

A web app for keeping track of personal and household money: what comes in, what goes out, and what’s left for the rest of the month. It’s already in use, and it keeps learning new things as the people using it ask for them.

UMKM Suite

Web platform for Indonesian small businesses, 2026

Most small shops already sell through WhatsApp, and lose orders somewhere in the chat. UMKM Suite gives them a catalog that sends tidy orders to WhatsApp, a QR menu for each table, online booking, and a link-in-bio page. It’s our own product. A shop can let us host it, or buy a single module and run it on their own hosting, with no lock-in either way.

How a product grows up with us

  1. Listen

    Before anything is drawn

We spend time with you and the people who will actually use it. Sometimes the answer is that you don’t need an app, and a single good page will do. We’ll tell you.

  2. First steps

Days for a page, months for an app

Small releases, real feedback early, and a short written note on what changed and why. You see the work while it can still change direction.

  3. First launch

    The day it goes live

We’re there when it meets its first real people. We watch where they stumble, fix what needs fixing, and explain what we learned.

  4. Let go

    When you’re ready

We hand over every key, every file and every decision, and show your team how it all fits together. When it’s time to learn something new, a new page or a new feature, you know where to find us.

Are we a good fit?

We’re probably right for you if

  • You’re starting something new, big or small, and want to understand it as it grows.
  • The people using it matter more to you than the launch.
  • You want a partner who will disagree with you, kindly.

We’re probably not, if

  • You’d rather not be involved at all until it’s finished.
  • The deadline is fixed and the scope isn’t.
  • You’re looking for the lowest quote.

We hold on until it rides on its own.

Every product we take on starts wobbly. We keep a hand on it while it learns, and let go only when it’s steady and your team is ready to ride without us.

Tell us what you’re trying to raise.

A landing page, a company profile, or a whole web app, all are welcome. Write to us plainly: what it is, who it’s for, and why it matters to you. A person, usually Sams, replies on WhatsApp within three working days.
